  2. I really like the use of light and shadows that is used throughout these images. The first image is one of my favorites with the colors of the sky and the one bright orange light giving it a very eerie feel. I like the way you were able to take some what simple compositions and make them interesting. The best example of this is the last image, it is simply a ball and shadows but the way you pictured it makes it feel interesting and there is a story behind it

  3. I don't know if its the editing or the way you took the picture (probably both), but these images are great. Each one is made in a way that speaks to the listener. To explain, I mean that each image seems to be speaking to me, whispering secrets and stories. My favorites are the first one and the second to last. The first images seems to try to tell me to be quiet, to appreciate the beauty of the moment. It wants me to look at how the lamp sits on the wall of the building and how it implies the coming sunrise/sunset that can be kind of seen in the window reflection. The second to last image is a talkative one, the drop cloths seem to all simultaneously converse about the events of the day, telling each other and the view about the people that walk by. Those images captured a moment i could sit in forever a kind of happiness I always long for. I really enjoy this images, thanks.

  4. As Deanna said, the lighting in these photos are really good, the photos are also all very cinematic (both of which make sense due to your film background). The first photo makes a really interesting use of a worm's eye view. It created strong diagonals that work well with the light. I also really like the 8th image, the bright light and strong shadows work nicely. That photo really reminds me of a Bruce Lee movie from the '70s, haha. Overall I think your building photos are the strongest of the set, and am excited to see more photos from you.
