  1. I can see you are doing some more self portraits in the indirect way this time. Your neck, your shadow and even your cat indicate your presence outside the frame, my favorite of these would be the sixth image and the first cat image. The sixth image reminds me of how I usually take my reflection images, you just happened to stumble upon it. You were probably just walking home or around your neighborhood and just happened to see your shadow there and snapped a picture, kind of like a surprise or excitement in seeing yourself. The sharp outline of you on the garage door(???) almost makes it like graffiti,a tag to mark your presents. Even though the 8th picture is of teddy I see it as another self portrait, the way he looks directly into the camera i can tell he was looking at you. His playful gaze suggest you taking the picture and him looking at your behind the camera. His playful nature also suggest the way you interact with him. I hope this was helpful

  2. I love these night photos a lot, they are so interesting like 1 and 5, just silence and stillness and then in the first one there is this harshness of light. Just rained too with how wet it looks, it has some quality. For night photo, look through the frame though, just see what to add and subtract from, and don't be afraid of distance, I think the 5th one could be bit more compelling if you get closer to it. 2 and 3 could be added towards abstraction such as looking at lighting effects. I definitely like this set though, and want to see what comes next.

  3. I like your night images and the eerie feel they give off. I am draw to the second and third images of the raindrops, especially the second image. The motion throughout them is nice and I almost get a sense of tranquility. Your faceless self portrait is really nice as well and I love the way the shadow crosses your neck. The two images of your cat Teddy are adorable and I enjoy the way you manage to capture images of him and look forward to seeing more.

  4. Bri, it's very interesting how you take two entirely different atmospheres of photographs for you 1st post and put them together. With your first six photos I'm reminded of the long, night walks around my neighborhood I used to take when I was younger on summer nights back from the park. Walking back around 10pm just as it became dark outside and after a long time spent with friends. I almost feel a little isolated in these photos. It gives a strong depth of feeling.

It had just stormed last night where I live in Toledo and I sat on my porch and watched the rain fall onto the street across from me. Those two raindrop pictures truly captures those moments for me personally.
